used gun price question?

I am looking at buying a barley shot Stoger 3500 in full camo from a friend. what would be a fair price for both of us. Not looking to steal it from him, just wondering.

original price, age and shell count? has it been used as an; oar, shovel, baseball bat, meat tenderizer... anything like that

I bought one at BPS for $650 with a $50 mail in rebate. So I'd probably say $450 of $500 if it's in really good shape.

Original price was 699 and its in perfect shape. Only used for a small part of last season and i was with him everytime. He takes good care of things like i do.
