Question about AR Lower

I have an LRB lower that the safety detent spring doesn't fit. The detent itself is fine.
Had anyone else ran into this? I actually suspect the lower more than the spring because the spring fits the take down detent.
Any ideas?

I had one where the detent wouldn't fit because of a bur in the hole.
You should be able to run a small drill down the spring hole, its just clearance for the spring. Just make sure you DON'T go all the way through where it intersects into the safety hole.

yep. I would try and do it by hand.

That was my thought also but I'm kind of hesitant.
Anyone know what size the hole is supposed to be?
