Very nice, what's the barrel contour and color?

You McM guys are killing me. Want one but I've blown my budget for the year with two from APR and having just bought a CZ 452.

Color is Tungsten. And you would have to ask Robert what the contour is. I told him to go with what filled out the barrel channel the best in the McM. Maybe a No. 4? Rifle weighs 7.4 lb naked.

Using a rear bag will probably tighten things up considerably. Nice looking rifle.

The Nosler box on the bench would indicate he was shooting Nosler 280 AI loaded with 140 g Accubonds

              looks like a #4 fluted , possibly a #3 since it weighs 7.4 lbs

I have no doubt the rifle will shoot 1/2" or better

the bull bag rest and shooting bench are detracting from the accuracy

a more solid foundation (front and rear rest) make all the difference in the world

people also need to consider that you're forming new brass right now . Once the barrel is seasoned and brass formed to your chamber, groups will shrink

Ah thanks, I wasn't paying much attention. Just figured when he said factory he was shooting what they stock in 280 (non-AI) at walmart/academy: which is only core-lokt to my annoyance.

I don't have any doubts that groups won't tighten. More trigger time, a more solid rest and the right load will prove that. Heck, I would like to see you try those same factory loads with a better rest just to see what she's capable of with them.

Good luck and please post some pics when you find what it really likes. I'm already planning a build with APR.
