    Magpul Hunter 700 Stock

Yeah, I want one. For about $320 with the bottom metal replaced to accept AI mags, I may have to start that 260 rem build that may cause my wife to explode.

You and me both. Want one to my 700 Varmint. I want to see some reviews first though just to be safe.

I wish they'd make one for Long Actions.

When I spoke with them at SHOT show they had no plans of building one for a long action....

I've heard that they may do long actions in the 700, but magnums.

I dont understand why they didnt build a stock that uses Magpul AR10 mags. Seems backwards for them to make a stock to use another company mags when their mags are great...

                    I know. I know. Lol.

Since its a precision rifle stock, maybe they just wanted to stay with what seems ton e the standard platform mag for that style rifle. I know the bolt on the Mossberg MVP took quite a bit of redesign to feed out of a Pmag. Maybe a 700 wont feed out of a Pmag without mods to the bolt?

Even then the Pmags dont fit 'great' in the 308 MVP. The M1A mags apperantly are the best fitting/feeding mags in it. Just from the videos ive seen and read, $34 for AI mags is good. I never did a mag conversion on my 700 because I felt like $70 for a mag is ridiculous buy now its a serious consideration dur to price.

                        I won't be mad about a $35 AI mag.

Because it is very difficult to get a AR mag to work and feed correctly in a 700 due to the angle of the mag and the lips from what I am told and the research I have done.
