It seems that they are a highly sought after item both in the 270 and 25-06. Haven't been made in many years and most are of the opinion that the first gen sendero's were the best shooters. They definitely have the better trigger than today.
I've seen them advertised for $12-1300 but haven't tracked what that sold for. Do a search here and on 2cool, there's been a few for sale lately.
The stock is quality and can be repaired/painted for a little bit or replaced on eBay/gun broker for about $200. Additionally, you can get one new from Bell and Carlson of a slightly different design for about $250 and double that from McMillian.
The new Remington Long Range Hunter, has hurt the resale of the mighty Sendero. I picked up a like New old school Sendero for $805.00.. Prior to the release of the long range hunter, it would have fetched $1,000 plus
It looks like with shipping and fees it will be almost $900. Gonna go ahead and get it shipped. Kinda like ground checking a deer I guess.
Wow, what are they charging for shipping and fees? I by quite a few off the ole inner web with shipping averaging 25-35 and 20-25 for ffl. If in Texas, there sales tax.....
