Has anyone seen a Remington Sendero 25.06 with a wood stock?

original Senderos were dropped in a HS Precision stock
a wood stock would be an aftermarket add-on, or perhaps a wholesaler (i.e. Lipsey's) may have requested a limited edition (200 count) , bull barrel in a wood stock
the wood stock version of a Sendero is basically a Varmint Special (with gloss metal) -

I think this gun has a aftermarket wood stock. The barrel is stamped Sendero so im thinking someone changed it, but for the deal I got I couldn't pass it up. Thanks!Comment

The Sendero with a laminated stock was a special run sold through a few dealers as said earlier. I've owned a few Senderos but have not come across an original laminate stock yet. Before changing the stock, I'd contact Remington to see if this was one. I have heard that the laminate models shoot even better than the HS stocks. Again, this is what I've been told and have never personally handled one.Comment
