Bases and Rings

I have an old Leupold 3x9 x 50mm Vari iic scope. With this large a front lens can anyone tell me how to pick bases and rings that would work with a pre
64 Winchester Model 70?

Go to leupolds website. It will let you choose the selection. I would way you need high rings of your running it on a one piece base.

We need more info.. alot will depend on what base you get. If you get a standard Picatinny base you can probably get by with medium rings. However not all bases are the same height and not all "medium" rings are the same height either. It would also be good to know the barrel profile..

dnz one piece mount and rings would be a good choice, you can check with them for ring height, I think you'll need high rings
