    Opinions: clamp on muzzle brake

Anybody have any feed back on clamp on muzzle brakes. Just ordered one from witt machine. Didn't really want to do a clamp on but had to as the barrel (tikka t3 lite) is too thin to get threaded. Just looking for anything good or bad about them as im still kinda sceptical about it. Or if anybody has any type of torque specs for the screws.

    Thanks

To thin to get threaded? Pretty positive you can get it threaded no problem....

I'm sure they could thread it. The muzzlebreak would be larger than barrel diameter, not sure if that would bother you or not. I have a lightweight 300 that I had one installed on.

Forgot to mention it is chambered in .300 wsm so there isn't much meat to work with. It can still be threaded yes but it would leave it thinner then my liking

U won't even know the different between the clamp on vs thread on as far as function. Only difference is looks.

          They should have torque specs.

I has a Kahntrol solutuons I ran on a 300 win mag till I had it threaded for my suppressor.

You could consider sending it to magnaport

Cool thank you, looks are not big concern for me as it is function. just trying to get some of the kick and muzzle jump down.
