Shot some zombie max last night

I got a box of the Hornady Zombie Max for fun to load in my carry gun and they shot real well.

For me they shot very accurately. I'm happy with my zombie certified ammo and will be ready when the apocalypse hits!

I remember being told by a firearms instructor to not use the Zombie Max in your carry gun because it sends a bad message (like Smile and Wait For Flash). We were told to use a personal defense round which is basically the same thing. Makes sense to me if I ever had to use my weapon in a situation and was sitting in a court room.

It is the same as the Hornady critical defense round only the ballistic tip is green rather than red. Otherwise it's the same round.

        Makes sense I guess.
If I came across some Zombie ammo at a good price I would probably put it in my edc and not worry about it.

Yes I know this. What I was talking about was now say you had to use your weapon and your sitting in a courtroom and have a jury that knows nothing about firearms and ammo and the prosecuting lawyer is telling the jury that you shot and killed a man with Zombie ammo. They will use any tactic they can so be careful.

That's some made up stuff. Invented and championed mostly by our own side.

If anything you'd be going easy on em. Critical defense stinks

I really like Hornady Critical Defense in my 45's.
