What to Hand Load a 22 - 250 Need input

I have access to a reloader and have no idea as to what brands of Powder and bullets to use as far as weight and brand.
Here is what i currently use
    Remington Model 7
    1 n 14 twist
Shoot hogs, paper, would like to try for deer.
Currently getting very good results using 50 grain Accu tip ( plastic).Purchasing off the shelf store brand.

    Thanks Guys

45-50 gr. Might try 55 grain and see how it does. I like Sierra BTHP
H380 powder was designed for the 22-250. So good place to start.

I would think lighter bullets would be best with that twist rate. I get my best results with Hodgdon (sp) XBR 8208 powder

8208xbr or varget will do all you need to.

Ive had best luck shooting sierrra 55gr bthp i think its a sierra #1390 with 36.5gr of varget. and RP brass cci-200 primer.

Another good load is 52gr Amax and 8208xbr cant remeber that charge off the top of my head though.

Little info on the sierra 1390 i have had great results with it. Quite explosive on coyotes. Works as good as could be expected on pigs. Wife shot her first buck at about 125 yds, 220lb foard county buck, drop in his tracks.

All with a remington VS (short action sendero) 1-14" Twist

But as you can see there are a lot of powders.

I've used h480 and h414. Just bought varget to load my 308 and it had a load on the bottle for 40 grain bullets.

Loaded their exact load from the bottle after stepping down 10% and working up and it shoots excellent in my factory Remington

Mine prefers the 55-gr Ballistic tip over H380 at about 3550 fps. I'm shooting an M70 Featherweight with short barrel though. Don't know what the twist is. As I recall the H380 was named due to it's great results in the .22-250--the load was 38.0 grains so the name H-380 so the legend goes

I have had great success with H380 and IMR 4350 believe it or not. Currently shooting the 45 grain TSX in a M700 VLS.

I use Sierra 55 grain soft points over Varget.
