    Suppressor Trust

I started the process of getting my trust for a suppressor today. Of course after I left the place I though of more questions I didn't ask today. Can you add people to your trust at a later date? Also, can you add a beneficiary at a later date? Last one I can think of now is, can you add non-family members to a trust?

Yes, if it is set up right. Find a NFA attorney and get it done right the first time.

Yeah you can with amendments. Fairly easy to do as well.

Ask your lawyer. If you didn't get a lawyer to do your trust, good luck changing it yourself. Yet another reason to just pay for a lawyer upfront, instead of going through a store or will maker.

My trust lawyer sent me a trust amendment document to add whomever I want, when I want. I've added a family friend and my youngest son with the amendment doc. He told me to keep those amendment docs with my trust at all times (I just stapled it to the back of the trust). All are copies, I keep the originals in my safe.

FYI: anyone setting up a trust for you or providing legal advise about trusts that is not a lawyer is doing so illegally.

Answering questions is not illegal. Giving a advice based on someones particular situation would be. I can tell anyone about what I read in a book...the law... I just can not tell them how the law would apply to their situation.

Yeah... should have worded that differently.
I didn't mean people on this thread if that's the way it came across.
