          712 yards on a blackbuck antelope at the 5S ranch in Leakey Tx.
          Weatherby Mark V in .257 mag
          110gr Nosler Accubond
          4-14x40 Nikon Buckmaster w/bdc reticle

          Straight through the front shoulders, collapsed straight down.

            Isn't Edson measured in meters? Seems like It was back in 87 when I qualified there, but my memory may be failing me
            That makes slightly more than 500 yards

                I shot a coyote with a 20ga slug at about 100yds when I was 12 or so. Open sights and it buried right between his eyes, dropped like a rock. Weird thing was there was no blood at all.

                                298yds / 300 wrby mag 165gr hornaday hit a running muley on a clean up shot for my uncle It did a front flip entry wound looked like a coke can could fall thru it
