    Don't normally recommend books, but

If you carry in Texas this one looks like a must have.

"Texas Gun Law Armed and Educated"

Written by lawyers, but in plain language using actual and fictional (not the word I was looking for, Edsheimers you know, but it will do, situations.

Where to get it? Was given to me as a gift, Did a google search and came up with this. Whether it's correct or not, don't know. But looks to be the source.

    EXCELLENT book!

    They're available HERE

At $25.95 it's a heck of a deal. The book covers literally every single law relating to firearms in the state of Texas. I think it's a must read for anyone that owns a gun in Texas.

I'd probably wait for open carry to do what it's going to do then wait for the revised version.

Valid point, but in reality the changes open carry brings is going to be about 1% of all firearms laws regarding Texans.

TLS will most likey distribute a 1 or 2 page printout that has the changes. As it is right now the changes to the penal are extremly minimal.
