    Proper buffer selection

Ok so I'm trying to find parts for my lightweight AR build (it's my first ever AR build) and in starting with a stripped upper and stripped lower. How do you select the proper buffer tube, buffer spring, receiver extension, and whatever other parts I'm forgetting that go along with those. I know there are different weight buffers and their are carbine and rifle length buffers. I'm assuming if I get a carbine buffer then I get a carbine spring. Their are several different size/weight carbine buffers and springs so how do I know which one to select? I'm building a 6.8 and I'll have an adjustable gas block if that makes a difference.

If you are going to have an adjustable gas block just get a standard carbine buffer and spring. A regular 5 or 6 position carbine buffer tube will be fine as well.

My 6.8 has fixed gas, Spikes T2 buffer, tubbs flat wire spring and PWS enhanced buffer tube. Tack driver and no cycling issues.
