    .45 plated bullet issue

I reloaded a bunch of .45 auto tonight and I had something happen that I havn't had before....the copper plating "peeled" slightly on 6 rounds. It's kind of hard to see in the attached image, but the copper plating bunched up a little bit in one spot. One of the rounds peeled down over the brass.

I'm assuming a slightly larger flare would prevent this, but are these rounds safe to shoot? I know the really bad one isn't...but what about the other 5?

    These were all Berrys bullets.

I'd say you need more flare. If they'll chamber they'll be fine.

More flare and switch to Precision Delta jacketed bullets.

The inside of the casing needs to be chamfered.

          I wouldn't shoot them.

Flaring and chamfering. Knock the bunched up plating off and shoot them. Worst that might happen is a little leading of the barrel. And half a dozen ain't going to hurt anything.
