It's not nickel silver. It's just nickel steel. It has a 3% nickel content, .030-.040 carbon. Supposedly more resistant to corrosion, less bore erosion, but harder to blue. Old Winchesters have a silvery color to them due to the bluing wearing off over the years, but there is no silver in it.
