SBR question

Im looking into building a SBR. Does the lower need to be dedicated to the SBR or can i flip flop uppers on the lower?

You can flip flop as long as you can return it to sbr configuration

The lower is what gets "SBRed" / register. You can have 100 different uppers, but need to be able to switch back to the configuration, ie barrel and overall length, that you put on the registration form.

actually, you can form 1 the upper, but you'll have to add a serial number and then you limit yourself to not having the ability to switch around like when you reg. your lower.

the law is way more complicated than most people realize, we've just weeded out the fluff to simplize the process.

He can't swap it to a lower with a stock.

IF he had a pistol lower he could, but that would be it.
