Well that's encouraging. What optics were used to provide the 2"group?

Bushnell Trophy 3x9x40 on Burris P.E.P.R. mount.

Overall, I'm still a PSA fan. Communication was certainly lacking but they did respond with speed and fixed whatever was wrong. Must have been something with the bore because that first round chambers like butter now.

I to am having good luck with my ptac rifle in 308 . ran a full mag of fmj thru her the other day zero problems then fine tuned my zero to my reloads. am getting bout 1.5 MOA at 100 yards. I was shooting off my range bag off lead sled I may do better. glad my 150 grain sierra reloads shot well as I have a good supply I reloaded for my bolt 308, Tex maybe we will both have a good shooter, if I were you I would send them a letter thanking them for repair and telling them their communication needs to improve. best of luck am still playing with mine have 3/9 redfeild revolution scope on it I think am going to like.

That's a question for PSA marketing. 308 platform is not standard among all manufacturer's because there is no mil spec to work from. Here is a site with some good info. http://308ar.com/

Do you have the standard hand guard or a free float? I'm considering moving to the latter when I upgrade the trigger.

There is more info that I could possibly read on this platform at ar15.com. According to many on there, the best communication method with PSA is to register in that forum and PM them. They claim email through the PSA web site won't even get you a response. Guess I got lucky.
Unfortunately there were many, many others with the same issue of the round not chambering. In my opinion, that is something that should be uncovered in test firing before shipping. If a company is going to sell a complete upper with BCG, they should test it.

Just thought I'd update my budget .308. Running fine and got a new hand guard today. It's a cheap eBay one but seems ok. I shaved the front sight base/gas block to fit but also had to mod the guard so I could slide the gas block in after the fact and still pin it. Worked fine and does not look that bad.

After pouring about a quart of lube on the bcg and running about 5 boxes of all different ammo thru mine.....its running flawless now.

sub moa @ 100 yrds on sand bangs.....I'm tickled!

Good to know your getting some good accuracy/function out of it.
I still have to PTac lower sitting idle in the safe...but I went with the .300 BO instead at this point in time.
