        Hahahahahahahahaha

The used gun market prices are majority insanely high.... Grinds my gears

But in this case it's just pure stupidity unless it had a searovski on top of it and then it would still be stupidity

I've seen crazy pricing on guns and scopes too. Often I crosscheck scope pricing on Amazon and folks want more for a used one than I can buy new! Same with AR weapons. Just because you overpaid, don't expect to be made whole.

Soooooo.......you're saying $900 would be too much for my trusty old marlin model 60.....???

I must agree. But people are willing to pay so it's hard to beat up the seller....and isn't that you? Are do you no longer work in firearms retail?

I recently sold a cooper mod 52 in good condition for 1750, I don't think I would have paid that much for a rifle which retails for 2100. I listed it for 1400 and it had about 6 people bidding. The groups posted may have helped the sale.

I frequent gun groups every day and find some good deals but also see people listing their guns for rediculous prices. I don't even bother to respond to those adds. My favorites are the "Rare" guns like Glock 19 and Ruger P95. There must be folks falling for this or they wouldn't keep trying it.

                        Confused at your question amigo
I do work in firearms retail but how does that make me equal to someone who sells a 710 for a grand? Slightly confused and we are talking about the used market correct? Not the new market..?

I went to some pawn shops in Victoria a couple weeks ago because I was bored and wanted to see what shotguns they had. They had shotguns that had barrels rusted beyond belief marked more than they were brand new at academy

I wasn't trying to point at you or the store you work for. I actually bought that cooper from GM for half what I sold it for.

My point is that the people paying stupid prices are as much to blame. Without them, their would be no stupid price market.

Same with trucks, boats 22 LR and high priced deer leases. It take the comsumer willing to pay more than the next guy to drive the market.

Having said that, the asking price for that rifle is laughable.
