Slide Fire Tac-22 for Ruger 10/22

I bought a Slide Fire stock for my AR. It's fun, but at $0.40 per click I don't use it much. Today for only $80 I purchased the Tac-22 chassis that allows the stock I already have to be used with a 10/22. Pretty excited to put this together. Has anyone here used one? Search brought no results.

I don't think the 10/22 will produce enough recoil to work the slide fire. I could be wrong, I've never used one

YouTube videos are convincing. The company does recommend a lighter trigger though. Mine is 2 lbs so should be good to go. I am also reading that it works best with HV ammo. There are recoil enhancers available, but I have something else threaded to the barrel already.

Huuuummm. I guess it does work. I don't have enough 22 ammo to have that kind of toy. Looks fun though

No. That would be illegal and a terrible idea to post on the Internet. The gun only fires as fast as you can pull the trigger. The new stock allows the recoil to cause your finger to pull the trigger as the gun slides back and forth.

I will. If it looks fun in those videos, just imagine what it's going to be like with a Spectre II attached (yes, it is spec'd for this rate of fire).

In order for this kit to work, a person needs 3 things:

                          1. The Tac-22 Kit. I think retail is $150. I got mine for $80 and the dude has one more left. He's in DFW.

                          2. The Original Slide Fire stock. I don't know how much this is. I got mine used for another $150 a year ago. It works on my AR15, and is interchangeable back and forth with the 10/22. That sealed the deal for me.

                          3. A good trigger.

Slide Fire sells a kit that includes all 3 above. I already had #2 and #3, so I just needed the Tac-22 chassis.

Just a heads up, http://www.bumpfiresystems.com/ make a nearly identical stock for much less than slidefire.
