What's the latest word on the X-sight?

Anybody got an update on the X-sight? Have they got the intial kinks worked out?

I got an e-mail today saying they have another update available for the firmware.

When you get it updated and take it out to shoot again I'd be interested to hear a review on how it performs

I'm glad someone else is going first on these. Looks like it has great potential. Hope they get the bugs worked out.

I think they will get em worked out. I'm about to buy one for my 300 blackout. Worse case scenario it's a fixed 5 power scope

I'd like to get a 3-12 power for an AR build I'm working on

I've heard really bad things on the 3x12

What's the difference besides the magnification?

From what I've read it's a daytime scope with nv options. Not sure how true it is but haven't read anything good on it.

That's strange. I thought it was the same scope and features just one had a better magnification. I haven't done much reading on it though

The 3x had some serious problems when they first came out. They re-did the 3x scope to make it have a manual focus like the 5x and the clarity issue has disappeared. That's not to say the software issues have been worked out. It looks like ATN is still a few updates away from having everything working and all of the bugs worked out for optimal performance.

That's good to hear. I'm still debating on getting the x-sight or a regular scope and putting a sniper hog light on when I want to go hunting at night
