    Remington VSSF

Looking at buying a VSSF in .308...anyone have any reviews on these guns or experience good or bad?

They are great shooting guns...only thing you may need to do is skim bed the stock & replace the trigger if you cannot tune it to your needs.

Great reputations for being shooters...love my swift!!

I own one and it will shoot cloverleaf groups all day long. Trigger adjustment is only work done on gun. Shooting the Bergers 168 VLD.

What are they worth? I'm seeing a big range online...

Don't know what they are worth now. I paid $ 562.19 for mine in 1997.

I have one in .308 that shot a 2" vertical group @ 500 yds with custom loads. It's a little more accurate than I am

I bought one used years ago. It's pretty accurate but the factory chamber is cut very long and requires hanging the bullet out pretty far for optimum accuracy. I've since gone the custom route. It will hold 3/4 moa groups out to 600yds which is the farthest I've shot it. Hard to beat for a factory gun. Fair price would be in the $800-1000 price range. They aren't made anymore, the newer VSSF II's sell for about $1,000$1,200 in unfired new condition.
