Ok guys I have a 700 adl that I just converted over to a bdl and put a h&s precision stock on. My question is now which trigger do you guys prefer pros and cons wanting to stay around the 150 to 200 Mark. Jewel? Timney?

rem 700 trigger?
X mark pro trigger is horrible, timney will be a 100 times better. Out of the box my cdl x mark pro that came in two weeks ago was 7lbs and after adjusting all the way out it was still 7lbsRemington should be ashamed of their triggers. Pull my Sako out and it broke at 3.5 pounds out of the box.

Jewell would be my first choice as you can adjust with a small allen wrench & tune it down for range work & then in a few seconds, crank it up to a hunting application. These will run $220-$240. The standard Timney is nowhere close to the quality of the Jewell, nor does it have the range of adjustment.
If you are going to get a Timney, then consider the Calvin Elite model...I'll be testing & do a write up on this one in the next few weeks. I called to order a Jewell but they were out. I was offered to try a Calvin & return if not 100% satisfied. Was told it was on par with the Jewell other than having to remove the stock to adjust. Curious to see if the $45 savings is worth it.
