Year rifle was manufactured

Does any of y'all on the green screen know how to tell what month/year a rifle was produced? PM me if you have any ideas.

Just google the "(manufacture's name) year of manufacture", and you should come up with a web site you can look it up on.

I see all the ways to find it out, but mine has a 9cu65 on the side not sure what to use

If you found the marking on the left side of the barrel, just ahead of the receiver ring and above the stock line, based on the two letters -- c u -- it is April (c = April) of 1972 or 2000 (u = '72 or '00). The numbers are inspector's or assembler's marks most likely.

To discriminate between the two year possibilities, you need to check various things such as finish, trigger, stock style, checkering style, etc.

Adl means it has no hinged floor plate so unloading it means you cycle the bolt to eject the rounds. A bdl has a metal plat pice that will swivel downwards and allow unloading that way.

Yup, as mentioned above it's not the serial number on the receiver, its the date code on the barrel. Use yer google powers--lots of websites with this info!

according to the serial # , this rifle was made around Apr/May 1971 , and is a 7mag
