    X sight or photon?

With the X sight finally released I'm debating on which unit to get. I have heard great things about the photon but the X sight looks nice as well. What do yall say?

I have both the photon xt 4.6 and the x-sight 5-18. Each one has its pros and cons. ATN has better daytime use. Photon is quick and easy to use with no switching from day to night mode. You really need to try both to decide. I'm waiting on the new firmware release to fix somes bugs with the ATN before I make a final call on which one is better. If ATN fixes a couple things it will have the photon beat in every category except weight. Just my opinion.

      Watching.

What features are you talking about on the ATN?

ATN features: The wifi is really cool. I like that I can link my iPhone or whatever for viewing. Photo and video recording is a sweet feature. Compass and all the other small stuff is cool but not needed. Also the zoom is pretty hard to beat. You can zoom right in for some longer shots.

Update: per ATN, the new update should be released today. This should fix any bugs with the new x-sight 5-18

Sounds like it is just going to put your reticle on recorded videos. It will not fix the major issues of reticle going off the screen and the night vision flickering.

Following this. I'll have a night vision scope just as soon as uncle sam sends me back if fraction of what I sent in.
