That would probably be a Glock. They are a bit crude and unrefined but are dependable. The factory barrels have an unsupported chamber so full house loads are not a good idea. You can buy an aftermarket barrel to cure this.

I have one of the STI/TBH 10mm and love it!! It's badarse with the full power loads. Anything less than full power is a .40. Carry a G23 Glock now so don't need another .40...

Glock may have a G40 (??) 6" optics ready come out soon.

Otherwise I'll get a G20SF and add a Lone Wolf long slide and a 6" barrel.

I think Rock Island makes a 1911 10mm. Might check them out if your looking for a lower price 1911 platform.
