^^^^^ you are killing your ears any time you are shooting without hearing protection. Muzzle brakes just make it more pronounced to the shooter.

Yep. Amazing how many people shoot without hearing protection. "It's only one shot, and I'm hunting" - can still damage your hearing.

Hmmm... maybe that is why people in San Antonio speak at such a loud volume in restaurants when the person they are with is only 3 feet across from them. They probably all shoot without hearing protection.
