if you didn't like the price you didn't have to buy? yes i admit they did go a little over bored but hey.. supply and demand..

Correct supply and demand with an added screwing over your customers fellow outdoorsmen to make an extra buck is not the preferred business model of retailers I frequent. Your money feel free to do as you please.

Just remember no one else was following the "supply and demand" model to this extreme.

their prices are cheaper than both Cabelas and Gander Mountains..?

that two of their biggest competition. but no one complains when ctd is cheaper than anywhere else. they only complain when they do not get what they want or when the price is to high..

Im not here to try to convince you of anything. Just sharing a little of their past so people can make an informed decision either way. If this wasn't TBH I'd post how I really felt about CTD... instead the "f" word I will use is forget... Forget them.

For the record cabelas and GM have always been on the high end of their pricing. But i'd certainly (and have) payed a little more to not do business with CTD.

It's a principle.. some people have them. it makes sense to those who do.

I won't further explain it, it's ok if you don't see it my way. Others do, while others see it your way.. that's fine. It's your money. Spend it like you choose. Many people here will choose to buy a Texas product over another one to support a local business, even if it means paying sales tax and a higher total cost. Much like the brethren on TBH choosing to do business with TBH sponsors instead of others. Money talks. Perhaps the loudest voice you have in this day and age.

                    Well said

I wouldn't buy anything from CTD if they offered buy 1 get 1 free with free shipping

When CTD had CCI for $40 per 100 in early 2013 that was enough for me. I've never considered buying anything from them since.

While I was not aware of their price gouging (I haven't used them before) I understand the part about principles.

While I'm unable to boycott Berkley College I would if I could due to finding medical supplies on VC and NVA prisoners that were stamped "donated by Berkley College USA". I have boycotted anything to do with Jane Fonda for over 44 years. I won't buy gasoline or diesel from Shell Oil Co. due to them supplying North Vietnam with petroleum products during the war. They were and may still be owned by a foreign country but it doesn't matter to me.

Yep, I know what you mean about standing on principles but my wife says I just hold a grudge. Same same to me.
