    Scope for a 22-250

Is there a scope that is preferred with a 22-250?

Maybe. Budget + intended use is a standard issue question though.

I know it probably sounded like a silly question. Lot of experience on here, didnt know if there was a scope that fit the calibers trajectory vs MOA dots. Kinda like the M223 scopes for the ARs.

Get you a Leupold vx-2 3-9x40 and shoot things all day long. My favorite caliber and my favorite scope. There are higher end scopes out there if you want to spend the money but this is about as good of a setup as you can ask for.

Vortex Viper....Heck a diamondback will be good enough.

They are really flat shooting out to 300, and I have found out past 400 wind drift and bullet stability start becoming huge factors. I have a Bushnell 6500 6x24 on mine.

I think the Burris bdc is based on .22-250 ballistics. I had one on my .22-250 and it was dead on out to 500 yds. Didn't try it beyond that.

absolutely LOVE the 22-250. I've got a old Nikon variable BDC and it works GREAT to about 300 yards...longest shot I have taken with it. DEAD on!

I use a vortex with BDC I know my holds at 300-400 so I just use it. 22-250s are flat shooting so it doesn't matter to much

                        .

Nikon has good BDC scope. You can download the spot on app. Can select caliber and bullet your using and tells you what yardages for the BDC. I'm putting one on my 22-250 to try out. I have a Leopold 3-9 on sons 22-250 no BDC but really nice glass.
