I don't own one but a buddy of mine that is on my lease has one in .270 and I really like it. I shot it at our range at the lease. It looks like it would be lightweight but it was surprising heavy but comfortable to carry and felt good in my hands. I'll tell you this, it shouldered well and shot lights out with factory 130gr hornady's

I looked at one today, needless to say I was impressed. Very comfortable to shoulder, felt very balanced, smooth action. I would like to know how they shoot.

I like em. The venture compact is a great younger kids' gun

Check with TC though. ...I believe they have a recall on them

I love mine. I have a 22-250 also. I had a few feed issues when I first got the gun. But after a few times on the range it fixed itself. Other than that a very accurate gun that is nice to shoot.

I went and got one this AM before church...good looking rifle and i am ready to shoot it.

You'll love it Calvin. I have one in .243, dang fine shooting rifle.

From what Ive read its an awesome gun. The bolt is smooth, looking at the rifling, there are no noticeable nicks. The only thing I am concerned about is the 1:12 twist for 22-250. Now Ive got to do a search for a scope. Good to have back on the Green screen Patrick, havent seen ya in a while...I guess BOB turned his nose up at us on the food, to bad.
