Ruger AR 556

Any one had experience with these? I know it's a low end cheaper rifle. Just wanting to get any experiences.

It may cost less but it's one of the nicest entry level ARs put there.

I bought one with 100 rounds thru it for $550. But I've heard of new ones selling for $600. Great gun so far.

nothing cheap about them, I have a Sig Sauer and its every bit as good as the Sig. my buddy went shooting with me and I loved it.

I don't think that Ruger makes low end anything.
Inexpensive items maybe...But not low end. They have a piston AR and now they have added a gas impingement AR. If they put their name on it. It has to be good.

I agree. Ruger makes some inexpensive firearms but all that I have owned are great quality guns. If I were in the market for an AR rifle, Ruger would be the first one I looked at.

I had one come through the shop a week or two ago. For the price it's pretty good. I'd pick it over the S&W M&P-15 Sport.

It's a budget AR for sure. But arguably the best in a sub $600 AR.
