Magpul Stock Preference Anyone??
01-03-2015, 04:27 PM
Considering purchasing either the STR Carbine or the ACS-L Carbine stock for an AR 15 and was wondering if anyone owns either of these two stocks and if they had a preference and why.
Thanks

I like the CTR. It's adjustable and has a second lever that clamps to make it extra tight and no wobble. Looks good and has a nice recoil pad too.

I have the UBR I know it's pricey but it is rock solid and gives you a longer LOP

Im not a huge collapsible fan but the STR would be my pick. I love my MOE fixed carbine stock.

This^. It's silent, solid, and not too pricy, either.

For the UBR, I'm sure it's a great stock but unfortunately not in my price range at this time.

Thanks, I was curious if they did and you don't have to spend $30 more on a cheek weld after market product
