Decapping Tip if You Have 45-70 Dies

I have ordered a universal decapping die, but don't have it yet. Wanting to decap , throw brass in sonic cleaner, then either neck size or full length size 22 hornet (neck), .223 (some neck, some full length), 300 Savage (full length), 45-70 (full), 44mag (full). Wanted to get started already, and found that 45-70 sizing die being straight walled, does not have an expander ball, and can be used as a decapping die for anything at least up to 30-06/.270 length and less than .45 case diameter. (Had some old 270 brass, and worked fine.) The only thing I really need the decapping die for is the 45-70 brass.

Have used an old 30-06 die to decap 223 for years. I just ground down the expander ball and was good to go.
