I'd go suppressor. I know it's my opinion, but I don't see the point of an SBR.

            Supressor

SBRs are overrated today w the Sig Brace.

After you have the supressor if you feel the itch--
            SBR

Most people don't until you own one.

I own 5 ARs. 3 are SBRs and currently working on a 4th. I rarely ever take my full size ARs out anymore.

File 'em both and wait once.

X10, I'd go with the suppressor first. A SBR is very loud without a can

I would do both if I could. if not, suppressor first for sure.

Id go with the Suppressor first and just put on a Sig Brace. If i did it all over again, I wouldnt have gone with the sbr ....i think

Suppressor first ... if you think you're going to go with the SBR at some point make sure you get one rated for short barrels.

After getting both in my hands I'm seriously thinking of getting rid of my 16" barrel upper ... it's probably going to just sit in the safe.

Having done both, I'd probably go a little different route...if you can only do one at first and you get the suppressor with regular length barrel and decide later to sbr, you'll need to buy an additional barrel so I'd get sbr first then suppressor (the sbr will not be fun to shoot with out being suppressed though!) Kind of like the chicken and the egg question - save up and get both if you can at the same time.

To me, the sig brace is hokey and a waste of money - I would never shoot it like a rifle shouldered up that short (no fun and uncomfortable) and what's the point in shooting it like a pistol....silly imo - just being realistic as I looked at all options and ended up with what I like the first time through and saved some cash.

I thought the same thing until I shot one this weekend.

Suppressor first, you dont want the SBR without one.
