Attempted tc encore trigger job. Messed it up

I purchased a broom tc 2.5 trigger for my sons encore. I screwed up the seat with my friends diamond 80 degree stone and it's not safe. Anyone work on these? The sear engagement isn't holding. If i push up on the hammer when cocked it releases. Long story but I don't think the stone I used was the 80 degree stone it requires. Anyone buy one of these kits and have the stones? Think u can fix it??

One thing to try is verify you actually changed the angle by reinstalling the factory spring and see if you have the same issues. It has been my experience w/those springs (kits) that the pull weight listed is more of a ballpark weight and not exact. If the spring is too light, you can have the same issues. I recently installed a spring listed @ 1.5#'s & it's no where near that weight. I had the same "pushoff" issue - installed a different spring and problem solved. I had tried that spring previously on another gun w/the same issue as I had marked it "too light". Thought I'd give it a try on another frame, but had same results.

Not everyone should do a trigger job, even if others think they are straight forward and simple. You might fall in both categories. At this juncture I'd either find someone that can fix it, or take it to a reputable smith, I like bullberry customs for my TC trigger jobs just mail them your frame and tell em what you've done... you wont be their first or their last I'm sure.
Personally I wouldn't listen to my own advice, I'd buy another trigger and try again But I don't listen to nobody. Where are you located? i bet we could figure it out pretty easily if you're near by.
