I have killed many of deer and hogs with the 150 SST from hornady. But with a 308 you cant go wrong with any hunting round.

anything that makes a whop! but ive been favoring the TTSX out of my 308 lately.

For hogs cheapest ammo that you can find that groups decent in your gun. Hogs aren't that hard to kill. I have probably killed around 100 with a 22 mag. You tube videos show people killing them with a 22 call air rifle.
