Gift cards to build a AR

Tyler (son) wants to build a AR. If we were to get him gift cards for Christmas where would be the best place? This would be a first for both of us.

they have weekly deals, weekend deals, you just have to wait them out for a month or so to get the best deal, I built my last one form there minus the stripped lower for $380.00 and the stripped lower was $49.00, so I had $429.00 in the whole gun.

I think PSA has everything he would need, and at unbeatable prices!! Midway is good too, but PSA seems to have sales that nobody can beat!!

I like Joe Bobs more than PSA. Palmetto has great prices but I had to wait a long time for it. Joe Bobs has really good sales and I got my stuff fast.

I've had really good luck with primary arms in the Pearland area. Great place for optics and parts.

Just get him a reload able Visa card, then you can use it wherever you want.

Complete guns or complete uppers and lowers have gotten so cheap again it's not worth the trouble and 14 shipping charges to order pieces and build. I have found DPMS oracles for $500 and colt competition guns for $700.

Never said he wanted the cheapest gun he can find. Most of us don't build them because its cheaper. Its so we can get exactly what's we want, and enjoy building things. We don't have cookie cutter guns like everyone else in the country either.
