    Which xds .45?

I am going to purchase an xds .45 for my everyday carry. I would like opinions on weather to get the 3.3 or the 4"

I personally carry the sub-compact .40 in the 3.0 and love the way it shoots, can't imagine the larger .45 in 3.3 jumping much more. I would go with as small as you are comfortable shooting. Just my .02

Imo length doesn't matter as much as width, at least that's what I tell my girlfriend

Joking aside, I carry the 3.3 model and love it. But I wouldn't mind having the 4". I can't see the extra 3/4" length being any less comfortable to carry

Generally speaking the longer the sight radius the better. The grip is the same which is what you're trying to conceal along with the width.

I compared the 3.3 and the 4 about 2 weeks ago and would go with the 4. It felt way more balanced in my hand.

If you are carrying iwb then I would go with the 4. Hancok45 did a review if you want to watch that. Might be helpful.

I have a used 3.3 in the classifieds if you're interested.

                  I sold my XDS .45 3.3

I tried to daily carry it, but my failure rate at the range was too high for me to trust my life to it. I had a 3-5% failure rate, and it wasn't operator error, mag problems, or ammo issues. I'm not willing to take a 95% chance it works if I can carry one of my 99+% guns instead.

Out of stock at the moment, but here's an option

Grab your Springfield XDS 3.3 Single Stack 45ACP Black with Crimson Trace Laserguard for sale at Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore.

Guess I'm lucky ! No FTF with mine at all. Rides my hip daily.

I may have just been unlucky. I didn't feel like trying to argue with springfield to get a replacement in case mine was a lemon. I'll just continue to carry glocks and sigs.

I have the 3.3 and absolutely love it! I also bought one for my boss who loves his too.

I don't think you can go wrong with either, but after holding both in my hands, I went with the 4". As previously mentioned, it just seemed to balance a little better, and I think the extra 3/4" of slide gives me a better sight picture. I think you really need to hold both in your hands to make a determination for yourself.
                              All the best,
                              Glenn
