From what larry said in the back story was this was issued to Delta when they briefly tried the STI before they converted to the glock 22. Larry isn't the seller from what I could tell, he is just signing off on yes these were issued to Delta, he has friends thats used them, blah blah blah.
Apparently from my research they weren't as reliable as the glocks, the operators were afraid to take their qualifi's with them. They only used the STI for about 2 years or so.

I love my Escort but it isn't a gun I would take on deployment. I love my 1911's and this was cool to see an updated version that actually saw service time. At least that's what the people in the know claim.
