    Dad has US armory Springfield model 1903 , he has recently took it to gun shop to have cleaned up and his new SCOPE put on ..

    I pulled the serial and from what I could find it said 1919

    What's it worth , being the place he brought it too wanted to buy , I'll try to get pictures up later this week

      values are all over the place from $500 to $3000

          did he just have the recvr D&T for scope mount/bases ?

            It had already been drilled and taped for bases and rings .. I had just bought him a newer better scope

              It depends on the quality of work and who did the work. A 1903 that has been sporterized by buba is going to be worth little. If its quality work it will be worth more. If its quality work thats been done by a known smith it could be valued at several thousand.

              It would help determine value with some pic's and more info. Also need to know if ser# is above 800,000 it is considered safe to shoot. 800,000 and below are considered unsafe.
