    reloading 22-250 bullets

question for you reloading gurus.. wanting to reload mine to the heaviest possible bullet. i have a remi 700 adl with a 1:14 twist, does anyone know the heaviest round that is recommended and safe to shoot outta that barrel? i know that twist limits me to what i can shoot out of it. thanks

With a 1:14 twist 55-60 grains is about all your gonna get to stabilize.

        55 or lighter on a 1-14 twist.

Nosler makes a 64 gr. BSB that was designed for 14'' twist. The best I have got them to shoot in my 22-250 is 7/8" 3 shot group.

50 gr. TSX will shoot in that 22-250. Awesome deer and hog bullet.

64gr is borderline to stabilize. try em, the worst can happen is you go back to the 55

The heaviest bullet I can shoot out of my Remington 700 VSSF with a 1:14 twist is 60 gr.

I have some 62gr Barnes bullets that I was thinking of trying in my 14 twist but Barnes doesn't publish any data for it.

Since those are listed as 1 in 9 twist or faster I'm not thinking they would show load data for a 14 twist caliber.
