    Harris bipods

Are they the best? Where is best place to get one? Looking for my brother in law for Christmas. He doesn't hunt, at least not yet.

if you want a good bipod the harris will do. if you want the best you'll need to buy an Atlas bipod

      Midway should have them FS

back in the day, Harris bipods were the best

they have since been passed up by ATLAS , which cost twice as much

I like the swivel model of the Harris bipods.

If you get one, pony up the few bucks for the Alpha Bravo Bipod Lock Lever. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/274...-angled-handle

The stock thumbnut is no bueno in comparison.

Check out Hog Sled, a buddy of mine is the founder of them.

good suggestion as the thumb nut sucks

I personally prefer Terry Cross' KMW original Pod-Loc version

Those Atlas Bipods are nice but goodness they're pricey along with accessories.

I have several Harris and one Atlas. The Atlas is nice with some of the features it has but I'm not convinced its worth 2-3 times the price of the Harris.

Use it on a hunt in rough, uneven terrain at hard angles and you'll see where it shines.

Want an "Atlas" (Knock off)? I know several folks who have these and I can't tell the difference. Been debating getting one myself...
