    Good entry level Muzzle loader?

Going to get one this year. Any suggestions?

Do you want modern or traditional?

I'd suggest either a Traditions Pursuit or a CVA Optima. I've owned both and had no complaints. Very accurate and easy to clean.

X2 on the CVA Optima. I sold mine to buy a T/C Triumph. Wish I had never sold the CVA. Inexpensive, accurate, good all-around inline muzzleloader. Not much in the looks department, but mine was definitely an accurate shooter.
          All the best,
          Glenn

TC Omega, can be found cheap and they are rock solid good shooters.

I don't know if they're still in production, but you may look into the H&R.

If I had it to do over again I would have never bought a dedicated muzzie. I would have bought a TC pro hunter that accepts interchangeable barrels. Instead I have a dedicated muzzie that stays in the closet all but 2 weeks out of the year. However my TC 50 cal Triumph shoots a two shot group that overlaps at 100yds. It took me three years to find the right powder, sabbot and bullet combo to achieve it. That rifle kicks worse than any firearm I have ever shot in my life. Dislocated my shoulder. Now when I shoot it I wear a magnum recoil harness in addition to the rubber recoil pad on the stock.
