Just want something to throw on a 10.5 5.56 upper to play with at the range , fast target acquisitions, and maybe sweep the house at night...

Pa stuff is pretty decent for the money. Usually real good warranty and CS as well.

I have been running the new Vortex Sparc II on a AR and ruger 10/22. I really like it too.

Not the ones you posted, but I put one of their 3MOA AA powered red dots on my sons AR.
So far so good, but wish it had more reticle choices.
Funny thing the gun is inherently accurate enough to hold better than imagined groups at 100 yds with a 3moa dot.

One benefit of the red dot I bought was the 10,000 hr battery life and when it might does die it is just a AA battery - no shopping around for some oddball watch battery.

Been running the MD-06L on an 11.5" 5.56. Have a couple if their sights and they perform great for the price. I actually chose PA over the SPARC because they didn't starburst as bad to me.

Not one of those but I have one of the older models also. Mine is on a keltec su-16c it works great on that gun no complaints.
