    Mod 10 in 22-250

After selling my mod 10 predator in 260, I just couldn't stand it and had to have another. I can't say enough about Savage, they're a bit heavy and not as astectically pleasing as some but are tack drivers. I've had my hands on 4 different mod 10's recently and all are sub moa if not half moa rifles with factory ammo.

Here's a 3 shot bench group measuring .231 at 100 yards then a 2 shot 1 inch group from a flimsy plastic table at 260 yards.

There is a group of older retired guys at the gun club. They shoot savages, and handload for them, usually the only work they have done is a muzzle brake and they shoot amazing. This isn't something I have heard. I always b.s. with them about guns and have went and checked targets with them, first hand eyewitness. I was shocked.

My next rifle will be a savage.

Agreed, Savage has developed a real following among serious shooters.

I'm headed out tomorrow for a second round of shooting and will have my Cooper along as well.

The above groups were my second and third fired with the rifle, including zeroing it's had 12 rounds down the tube. It might really shoot once broke in....
