First i drain them. Then I take them to my air compressor and blow them out. Lay them on a towel and air dry for a little while. No water spots for me either.

When I use my ultrasonic cleaner, I use distilled water. When they are done I shake all the excess water off of them then I lay them on a towel and roll the outside dry. Then I put them in the oven at 175° for about 15 min. They aren't shiny but no water spots.

Rotary tumbler with ss media is better than the ultra sonic cleaner based on my experience. Makes it look like new brass again inside and out. Lemie-shine Helps with the water spots. I just lay out in a towel or used my old food dehydrator to dry them.

I also used the ez rotary shifter and ss steel magnet when I pull the brass out of the tumbler.
