Gun ranges

Hello greenscreen,

I have a question for you guys.

since i visited Texas the first time im kinda addicted to guns.
Went through all the paperwork and stuff to get the licenese to own guns over here, and i do own already quiet some stuff but sadly everything is extremely restricted in Austria. Fully automatic is totally illegal over here and also silencers.
I also tried to get an ar 15 in 300 aac but not possible here. so i got me a .223 which is also sweet, but...

So I finally make it back to Texas in October for some bowhunting and i was wondering if there are any gun ranges where i can rent some sweet toys i would never get the opportunity to shoot over here.

Something like a 300 aac ar maybe with a can on it.
maybe a silenced 1911
a fully auto ar or fn p90
maybe a kriss vector
or something like that


so do you know or can recommend a gun range where i can rent/shoot some of the really cool stuff?

any help would be very appreciated

Glad to see you coming back to Texas, brother!

They do exist, but can be hard to find. If you can say what part of the state you'll be in, it would be easier to give you some links. The size of Texas, you could be hunting in one part of the state, but be a full days drive from a range with those kind of services.

Im also so happy ill finally make it back to that awesome state

ill stay for two weeks and ill be in DFW area, ill be around lake o the pines and ill also head down to austin /san antonio area.. but i dont mind driving some time to have some fun

I'd also recommend DFW gun. Nothing like shooting a Tommy Gun!

There is a place in either Shiner or Hallettsville that rents full auto. I can't vouch on how nice the place is because I've never been there. If you decide to go there, let me know. I wouldn't mind meeting up with you there and shooting a full auto machine gun myself.

well not sure how long ill stay in dfw area. but i guess a day or two. need to visit cabelas for sure but no fixed plans yet...

ill arrive on 8th then ill probably go whitetail hunting and then i have no fixed plans till 16th where ill go to lake o the pines for some axis and hog hunting.
between 8 and 16 ill probably head down to san antonio for a ay or two...

just checked Texas triggers. **** that sounds too sweet would love to shoot the barret 50 cal. (another thing thats illegal over here) and the ma deuce but that is just too pricy..

DFW guns sounds awesome! Prices sound great and i can shoot silenced handguns and Maschineguns. now i really get excited. never even hoped to shoot a tommygun ever
is it allowed to make videos on such ranges? need to bring something back for my fellow gun buddys to make them jealous haha

People video / photograph all the time at the gun ranges. Great advertising for the range when people do. I know there are several places in Dallas that rent firearms.

If we could work it out I could bring my suppressed 300 blackout SBR and meet you at DFW gun range.

I work literally 10 minutes or less from there right now.

Can't help with the full auto though.

Spring Guns & Ammo has quite a few suppressed and full auto guns to rent.

That's who I'd go with. It'd be a few hours of a drive for you though from DFW
