Picked up a Sendero today

First off I want to say this is a lot of gun. Sendero 300 RUM made in 1998 so does that means it's an earlier model? Serial number in the left side starts with a S. What is the recoil like compared to my wood stock ADL 30-06? Take a look at her guys.

Sf 2 that's the latest model sendero. The earlier model didn't have painted flutes and the stock had a thinner palm swell. It was also painted black with grey web.

As far as recoil goes power level 1 would be close to a 30-06. Power level 2 is like a 300 win mag. And power level 3 well you better be ready for it. A rum isn't a gun for anybody that is recoil sensitive. They are great shooters. Most like the 180 scirocco and they aren't cheap. Nice rifle by the way.

That's newer than 1998. I'm not sure when the went to the black flutes, I'd say 10 years ago at the most.

In the 90's a sendero was blued with no flutes. Sometimes around the late 90's to 2000ish is went to a stainless fluted model, then they painted the flutes black in the latest and most current rendering.

It would be important to find the exact age as the older ones and first gen x mark pro's had better triggers. Anything after the first gen x mark isn't much of a trigger as como to the older ones.

Just a side note, the 300RUM wasn't offered until 1999 from Remington. Good luck with the sell, somebody will be getting a awesome rifle.

I was happy when my first 300 rum was stolen, that's how much it kicked. When I replaced it I went with a 300 rum custom shop rifle, it will wake you up but it will put the big stuff to sleep!
