There is a wealth of load data online from the manufacturers. Also, if there is a load you are looking for, you can call the manufacturer of the bullet or powder and chances are they will provide it for you.
Or, you can go buy the books and have it all.

As stated, the is lots online. If you have a certain brand of bullets you like, you are probably best off buying their latest book.

I've had best luck with the big Sierra book, hornady and lyman.

Sierra just seems to be a good general book. Theirs tons of load data.

That being said. The data I've used the most is what is Hodgdons website. I'm about to print it out and make my own book to use from it.

I have nothing so anything would be a start.

Well, I do have a press and "some" stuff but no preference or experience with reloading.

            Lyman OK to start?

Lyman seems to be good for cast lead bullets.

Any rifle bullet I shoot I get their Manual. Different profile of bullets, even though same weight, can give you different pressures due to different profiles and bearing surfaces.

                What will you be shooting?

Use load data specific to the bullet and powder you are reloading. The sources for that are now plentiful thanks to the internet. Most powder manufacturers and many bullet manufacturers put some if not all their load data online.

Most of the manuals have a very good overview of handloading. The Lyman manual and the Lee manual probably have the broadest collection of data since they aren't bullet manufacturer specific, but they don't have everything.

Yep. Hodgden's website used to be very helpful and still can be. I would get a new Nosler one for sure

I believe in the gathering of knowledge.

Between my buddy and I, we have several, and they are all very good. The ones we reference the most are:

                              Hornady
                              Sierra
                              Lyman

I really intend to get a Nosler book, I just keep putting it off.

The powder manufacturers have a ton of info on their websites.
