So, my o/u became a single shot this morning...top barrel will click, but not strike the primer. Anyone know a reputable gunsmith in the temple/Belton surrounding area that will not rake me over the coals to replace it? Or, has anyone ever done this replacement?

I was having the same problem this morning. Shooting bottom barrel first I would get a click and a slightly dented primer but no shot. I switched to top barrel first and the bottom barrel would fire on the second pull. I'm thinking the pin is just gummed up. When I got home I flooded both pins with gun cleaner and after it evaporated I squirted in some dry lube. We'll see if it helps - that is all I know to try short of taking it to a gunsmith

I will be attempting to clean it real well and see if that helps. I shot two rounds of skeet with it yesterday afternoon, then this morning....click. If it doesn't clean up, I'll see if I can get some help from the manufacturer. Only problem there is the American Arms were made in Spain and Italy. Italy being more desirable. Unsure if they are even around still. I've had this gun for several years.

Oh I have plenty of shotguns. This just happens to be my favorite, go to never miss, shotgun. I do appreciate the offer though.
